The Government College of Technology is situated on Plot No. F-13, measuring over 103 acres (4,98,520 sq. meters) of land in Sindh Industrial Trading Estate (S.I.T.E), Karachi-75700. The college is situated in the centre of the country’s biggest industrial zone viz. Sindh Industrial Trading Estate (SITE), Karachi and its ideal location makes it convenient for the students to visit and observe working of the industries in the areas related to their field of studies.

The Building Complex of the Government College of Technology consists of several blocks. The main building
consists of Administration Block, Library, Classrooms, Drawing Halls alongwith other blocks, Shops and Laboratories of various Disciplines. The Students Cafeteria is adjacent to the Administration Block. A block houses Auditorium. A separate building houses B.Tech section. Two new blocks have been constructed one for B.Tech. programme and other for Teacher’s Training Programme. Beside the above mentioned buildings, the campus includes a separate Residential Block for the teaching and non-teaching Staff.
