Instructions for candidates, batch 2009-10 

1. Selected Candidates for admission in Bachelor of Technology (Pass), First Year class, Civil, Electrical & Mechanical Technologies are directed to submit the following at ONLY, OCS Centre Shop No.  07, Block 13-C, Murree Heights, Gulshan-e-Iqbal (opposite Urdu Science College), Main University Road, Karachi Phone No. 4970001, alongwith Rs.25/- in cash as service charges upto 25-06-2009, failing which their candidature will automatically be dropped and the next candidate appearing on the waiting may be given chance for admission.

i)             Pay Order of Rs.4040/- (Rupees Four Thousand Forty only) in favour of Principal, Govt. College of Technology, SITE, Karachi with name of candidate, Merit Order No. and Technology written on the reverse side of the pay order.

ii)            Original Consolidated Marks sheet of Diploma of Associate Engineer, (According to the Rules of the NED University of Engineering & Technology, Karachi the Original Consolidated Marks Sheet of the Candidate shall be retained invariably and permanently by the university).

Note: The candidates are advised to keep sufficient number of photocopies of the Consolidated Marks Sheet of Diploma of Associate Engineer, as the NED University retain the Original Consolidated Marks Sheet permanently.

iii)           Migration Certificate in Original.

iv)           Four recent photographs (1 ½’’ x 1 ½’’.), write Name & Pre-Admission Entry Test Roll No. on the reverse side of the photograph.

v)            Domicile Certificate in Original

vi)           Permanent Residence Certificate in original issued for the purpose of admission in educational institution only (on Form C).

For All Sindh Rural Candidates : Undertaking on judicial stamp paper is required, format is given on Appendix V, Page No. 123, Prospectus 2009-10. 

vii)         Hafiz-e-Quran Certificate from Wafaq-ul-Madaris, in original (if applicable).

viii)        Disability Certificate from the Provincial Council of Rehabilitation of Disabled persons, Social Welfare Department, Government of Sindh on

“Form I (Assessment)” , in original (if applicable).

ix)           Certificate of Extra Curricular Activities conforming clause 12.2.3.7 (ii) (b) on page No.19, in the Prospectus 2009-10.(If Applicable)

x)            Medical Fitness Certificate in original on the proforma prescribed on page No.121, Appendix-III in the prospectus 2009-10.

xi)           Undertaking on Judicial Stamp Paper of Rs.20/- as mentioned on page No.122, Appendix-IV, of the Prospectus 2009-10.

xii)         Candidates applying against the categories on serial No.3,4,5,6,8 & 9 mentioned on page No.21, “category wise distribution of seats” in the prospectus are directed to submit their nominations through the Directorate of Technical Education, Govt. of Sindh, Karachi (if applicable).

xiii)        Two Attested photocopies of consolidated Marks Sheet.

xiv)        Two Attested photocopies of  Migration Certificate.

xv)         Two Attested photocopies of Domicile Certificate.

xvi)        Two Attested photocopies of Permanent Residance Certificate issued for the purpose of admission in educational institution only (on Form C).

xvii)       Two Attested photocopies of Matric / SSC/ TSC Certificate

xviii)     Two Attested photocopies of Diploma of Associate Engineer Certificate or Provisional Certificate issued by the concerned Board.

xix)        Two Attested photocopies of NCC certificate (if applicable)         

xx)         Two Attested photocopies of Hafiz-e-Quran Certificate from Wafaq-ul-Madaris (if applicable).

xxi)        Two Attested photocopies of Disability Certificate from the Provincial Council for Rehabilitation of Disabled persons, Social Welfare Department, Government of Sindh on Form I (Assessment) (if applicable).

xxii)       Two Attested photocopies of Certificate of Extra Curricular Activities conforming clause 12.2.3.7 (ii) (b) on page No.18 of Prospectus 2009-10 (if applicable). 

xxiii)     Two Attested photocopies of Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC).

 

2. After submission of the documents at OCS Centre, all the candidates are directed to get NOC Form from the College on next working day for placement in approved organization for Practical Training and complete their Enrolment formalities within three days after deposit of fees.

3. Candidates on Waiting  :- Candidates on waiting may be given chance for admission, only if an eligible candidate of this Provisional Merit List fails to fulfill the conditions and his candidature is dropped, information regarding the admission of the candidates on Waiting  can be seen on the College web site after one week.
